What 'Vegan' Means to Us?
Ice Cream City's recognizes that veganism is not just a diet but a lifestyle of choosing not to participate on all sorts of animal abuse for food, clothing or any other purpose. To meet our quality and safety standards, we carefully select our raw materials and confirm from our suppliers that no animal or animal byproduct is used in any ingredient we use.
About Our Ingredients
Our products are made with plant-based ingredients that are lactose-free, dairy-free, gluten-free and mostly verified as non-GMO, organic and Halal. Our frozen desserts contain almonds, soy and traces of tree nuts like macadamia and cashew. Our ingredients that are non-dairy but are produced in a shared facility that processes dairy include only chocolate and cocoa powder.
As good manufacturing practice, we plan our production runs with allergens in mind. All our equipment and tools are only used for processing our plant-based products.
Our products are produced in small batches and carefully handcrafted with a great balance on taste and nutrients. Unlike mass-produced products, you can expect artisan touch on every can.
We churn our frozen desserts every day ensuring that what you eat is fresh and of highest quality. We do not use microwave ovens nor heating lamps, neither semi-finished products nor artificial flavorings and dyes. It is our aim to make good desserts that are made with natural ingredients & 100% plant-based.
We pack our products in eco-friendly containers and materials that can be repurposed like tin cans. We try to eliminate the use of plastic by using twines that are also plant-based and local. Through these simple ways, our final assembly only produces (1) waste that is easily degradable and (2) less waste to landfill.
